Poh Seng Lee
Dr. Poh Seng Lee, PhD, FASME, FIES, is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He holds multiple key positions, including Executive Director of the Energy Studies Institute (ESI), Co-Director of NUS Sustainable Futures, Coordinator of the NUS Energy Solutions Hub (NESH), Co-Director of the Singapore Energy Centre (SgEC), and Director of the Centre for Energy Research & Technology (CERT). Dr. Lee earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and both his MEng and BEng from NUS.
Specializing in high-performance cooling techniques and energy-efficient technologies, Dr. Lee has significantly advanced sustainable energy solutions and green data center cooling. He has authored >200 publications, holds an H-Index of 51, and has over 11,000 citations. His accolades include the Dean’s Chair at NUS (2023–2025), fellowships with ASME and the Energy Institute UK, and the NUS Faculty of Engineering's Young Faculty Research Award. Through his research and leadership, Dr. Lee continues to make impactful contributions to mechanical engineering and sustainable energy.
