Richard is a partner in the global energy law firm Baker Botts, where he heads the Singapore office. Richard has a long career in project development—from the UK and Europe to the US, Australia, and Asia. He advises governments and SOEs, project sponsors, offtakers, and financiers on all aspects of project development and investment. He is currently helping clients on a range of energy transition and decarbonization projects in the broader APAC region, including large scale transmission and broader power sector initiatives.
