Luan Quoc Hung is the Deputy General Director at Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC), specializing in power system management, smart grids, and digital transformation. With a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Ha Noi University of Science and Technology in 2005 and a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Paul Sabatier University (Toulouse III) in 2010, Luan has a strong educational background in electric power systems.

He began his professional career at EVNHCMC, where he held various roles in the Engineering Department. In 2015, he was promoted to the position of Deputy Director, and in 2016, he further advanced to become the Director of the Engineering Department. With expertise in power system operations, smart grids, and digital transformation, Luan played a crucial role in implementing innovative solutions and ensuring efficient operations. In his current position as Deputy General Director since 2020, he contributes to the strategic direction of the organization and focuses on driving smart grids, digital transformation initiatives, and creativity & innovation activities.
