Kim-See Lim is the Chief Investment Officer at Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). She is a global investment professional with more than 30 years of experience originating, executing, and managing multi-billion-dollar equity and debt portfolios across emerging markets in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Latin America.

Throughout her career, Ms. Lim has held senior leadership and corporate board positions across private companies in emerging markets. She has successfully led multicultural teams in formulating and executing investment strategies across the consumer services, infrastructure, and financial sectors.

As Chief Investment Officer at AIIB, Ms. Lim oversees the Bank’s investment operations with public sector clients in South Asia (excluding Afghanistan and Pakistan), Southeast Asia, the Pacific Islands, and Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as financial institution and fund clients across all AIIB member countries.

Prior to joining AIIB in July 2025, Ms. Lim served as Regional Director for East Asia and the Pacific at International Finance Corporation (IFC), where she led the formulation and implementation of IFC’s investment strategy and advisory business across the region.

Ms. Lim is passionate about sustainable finance, inclusive growth, and innovation. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Bahasa. She holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and an undergraduate degree in Economics and Finance from Flinders University.
