Alexander Hogeveen Rutter

Electricity Sector Lead, RMI (moderator)
Alexander Hogeveen Rutter is the Electricity Sector Lead for Third Derivative, the Technology and Innovation arm of RMI. He leads diligence for startups and research on technology innovation for a variety of topics, including utility digitilization, Clean Firm Power, GETs and other topics related to the Future of Grids. He has previously worked for BCG as well as Multi-laterals including ISA and IFC, working across South and Southeast Asia. Alexander started his career with Manitoba Hydroelectric, an integrated utility based in Canada. He holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business and a Bachelor’s of Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
